Got my new Guider 3

Just got my Guider 3 and honestly, it's pretty sweet. Ordered it last week, and it showed up quick. Setup was a breeze, took maybe 20 minutes. Prints are coming out really clean. I'm just playing around with some PETG Filament right now, and it's handling it like a champ. Definitely happy with it.

Reliable brand, consistent quality

I've been a Flashforge customer for a while now, starting with a Creator Pro 2 a few years back. This time I picked up an Adventurer 5M. What always brings me back is the reliability; my older printer is still going strong. The Adventurer 5M continued that trend – it was easy to set up, just like my previous one, and the print quality is consistently good. Shipping was about the same as my last order, arriving within a week. I appreciate that they maintain a good standard across their different models. It's why I keep coming back for my filament too.

Detailed thoughts on Adventurer 4

I ordered the Adventurer 4 after a lot of research, looking for something reliable for hobby use. The ordering process on the website was smooth; I found it easy to navigate. Shipping took 6 days to get to my address in California, which was within the estimated window. The printer arrived well-packaged with no damage. Unboxing and initial setup were simple, with clear instructions provided. It came with a small amount of PLA Filament to get started, which was nice. I printed a few test models, and the quality was consistently good. I did have a minor issue with the build plate adhesion on one print, but a quick adjustment in the slicer settings sorted it out. The included HEPA Filter is a good addition for air quality. FlashPrint software installed easily on my Windows machine. So far, the printer performs as expected, making it a decent choice for someone getting into 3D printing.

Good printer, slow support

I bought an Adventurer 5M Pro recently and the printer itself has been pretty solid for my projects. Setup was straightforward, and prints came out clean right away. The software, FlashPrint, is decent enough, though I found it a bit less intuitive than some others I've used. My only real gripe was when I had a small question about a setting, customer service took almost three days to get back to me. It wasn't a showstopper, but a quicker response would have been appreciated for sure. Overall, a good value, but they could improve their support response times.

Decent deal for a beginner

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the best bang for my buck. I snagged the Adventurer 3 during a flash sale. The price was really competitive, especially for a complete beginner setup. I also got some PLA Filament with it. The overall cost felt worth it, and I didn't feel like I overpaid. It prints well enough for my needs, and I'm happy with the purchase. The educational discount mentioned didn't apply to my specific purchase, but the sale price was good anyway.

Thinking about the Adventurer 5M vs. the 5M Pro. Is the Pro really worth the extra money, or can I save a bit and go with the regular one?

A Alex Adams 4 days ago
The Pro has some nice upgrades like the enclosed chamber and better air filtration. If you're printing stuff that needs a consistent temp or just want less smell, it's a good move.

Honestly, depends what you're printing. For basic PLA stuff, the regular 5M is a beast. Pro if you're doing ABS or ASA a lot.

Can I use more than one promo code on an order? I have a newsletter discount and found another code for a filament bundle.

T Thomas Phillips 1 week ago
Nah, usually it's just one code per order. Tried it before and it only took the first one.

C Carol Harris 1 week ago
I think they only let you use one promo code at checkout. You'll probably have to pick which one gives you the best deal.

Hey, I'm looking at getting an Adventurer 5M Pro. How long does shipping usually take to New York? Trying to plan my projects.

D David P. 1 week ago
Mine got to California in about a week. They ship from a US warehouse so it's not like waiting for stuff from overseas.

yeah I ordered some filament and it was pretty quick, maybe 5-7 days for me too. Don't think it'll be too bad for NY.

What's the deal with returns if I open the box and decide I don't like the printer? Say an Adventurer 4?

A Amanda D. 1 week ago
Returns were pretty straightforward for me, but make sure you check their policy for opened items. Some places have a restocking fee or specific conditions.

I returned an extruder kit a while back, had to pay for shipping but they didn't give me any grief about it being opened. Just make sure everything's repacked nicely.

Anyone have experience with the Guider 3 Ultra compared to a Prusa? Trying to decide which to invest in for more serious prints.

E Emma Hernandez 2 weeks ago
The Guider 3 Ultra is pretty solid, especially for bigger prints and speed. Prusa is known for reliability and open-source flexibility. Depends on your priorities really.

J Josh C. 2 weeks ago
I've used both. Flashforge Guider series are workhorses, good for production. Prusas are fantastic for tinkering and community support, but maybe not as fast out of the box for volume.
